This article demonstrates how to connect WHM (WebHost Manager) to WHMCS.

After you have ordered WHMCS and installed WHMCS, the final step is to connect WHM to WHMCS. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Log into WHMCS.
  2. Click the wrench (spanner) icon, and then click System Settings:

WHMCS - Wrench icon - System Settings

  3. In the search box, type server, and then click Servers:

WHMCS - Search box - Server

  4. On the Servers page, click Add New Server:

WHMCS - Servers - Add New Server

  5. On the Add Server page, complete the fields:

    • Confirm the Module list box is set to cPanel.
    • In the Hostname or IP Address text box, type your server name.
    • In the Username text box, type your username.
    • In the Password text box, type your password.
Alternatively, if you have an API token, type it in the API Token text box, and leave the Password text box blank.

  6. Click Test Connection. WHMCS tests the new settings.
  7. When the settings are correct, the manual configuration page appears with the required fields already completed based on the settings you provided in step 5. Review and modify any other settings you want to change, and then click Save Changes. WHM is now connected to WHMCS.
